Hi, I’m Beck Saxon – a qualified climber and trimmer of trees, and lover of gardening.

I am passionate about being as eco-friendly as I can, and believe in using electric instead of fossil fuels wherever possible.

I offer gardening services and tree work around Frome and the local area- covering Bath, Warminster, Westbury, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet and Wells.

After working with several tree surgery businesses, I couldn’t help feeling that tree work could be done in a much more environmentally friendly way. Petrol has been used for decades to help make the job quicker, but electric technology is catching up. I firmly believe it's now possible to ditch the fossil fuels (and all the noise and dirt that comes with them), and so I have set up Saxon Trees and Gardens to do just this.

I believe that biodiversity and reinvesting nutrients into a garden is important. My ambition is to work with people to reuse plant material and biomass removed in their own garden: chipped up as mulch, as decorative flower bed edges, feeding the plants as compost, or feeding the household with mushroom logs!
